Gokyo Lakes Trek
Found within the Khumbu is the emerald waters of Gokyo Lake. This trek into the heart of the region and Sherpa culture is one of the most reward treks in Nepal. You will get amazing views of the Himalaya, including Everest and a great insight into the culture of the people that live here. This trek can also be combined with the Everest base camp trek for an extended journey.
ITINERARY (Based on Tea House Trek)
Day 01: Fly to Lukla (2,840m), lunch, dinner and overnight in lodge.
Day 02: Trek to Monjo (2,835m).
Day 03: Trek to Khumjung (3,780m).
Day 04: Trek to Dole (4,200m).
Day 05: Trek to Machhermo (4,410m).
Day 06: Trek to Gokyo Valley (4,790m).
Day 07: Climb to Gokyo Ri (5,360m) and back to Gokyo.
Day 08: Trek back to Dole.
Day 09: Trek back to Namche (3,440m).
Day 10: Trek back to Lukla.
Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
