For most visitors, Kathmandu is the gateway to Nepal. This bustling capital city is situated at an altitude of 1400 meters and occupies the Kathmandu Valley. The valley itself is divided into three ancient cities, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan, at one time, each where kingdoms in their own right. Amongst these beautiful cities and temples you will find numerous UNESCO World Heritage Listed Sites and major tourist attractions.

Not only is Kathmandu abundant in history, culture, architecture and religion, it is also the major tourist hub in Nepal. Kathmandu Tour (4 Days)

With the immense amount of sights to see and things to do in Kathmandu, we recommend at least four days of sightseeing in and around the city. This package can easily be broken up into two days before your extended trek or tour and two days upon your return to Kathmandu. The sights and highlights of this vibrant city are many and this is the best way to see them.

ITINERARY

1st Visit to Kathmandu

Day 01: Pick-up from Kathmandu International Airport and Transfer to your hotel. Take some time to refresh and meet your guide to discuss your tour program in Nepal. You have the evening free.

Day 02: Breakfast and Depart for Chitwan/Pokhara/Lumbini/Nagarkot/Dhulikhel


2nd Visit to Kathmandu

Day 02: Arrival and check-in hotel after finishing your extended tour program, Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 03: Breakfast and full day city tour to Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhu Temple, Lord Krishna Temple in Patan &, Lunch in Patan, then Light Shopping in King's way. Farewell Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 04: Breakfast and transfer to International Airport for final departure.

Note: One extended night can be carried out with Casinos/Discotheque/Mountain Flight or Shopping activities.
