Pokhara - The city of lakes and mountains
The lakeside town of Pokhara is perhaps one of the most enchanting tourist destinations in Nepal. Famed for its tranquil lake that reflects the Himalaya in its glassy waters at sunrise, Pokhara is on most people’s list of places to visit in Nepal. The valley is home to seven lakes in total and boasts panoramic views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu Himalaya.
Situated 200km by road, or a short 25 minute flight from Kathmandu, Pokhara is the starting point for trekking into the Annapurna Region, as well as Manaslu, Upper Mustang, Nar Phu Valley and Dhaulagiri trekking. Pokhara is also home to panoramic Paragliding in Nepal and a great place to start your white water rafting or mountain biking trip!
Around Pokhara, you will also find abundant nature, culture and diverse ethnic groups. Two of the chief ethnic groups that inhabit this region are the hardy Gurung’s - the original inhabitants of the valley, the Thakali people, famed for their delicious food.

Pokhara Enchantment Tour (3 Days)
This relaxed three day package tour showcases the highlights of Pokhara and its surrounding areas. The package can be easily extended to include extra sightseeing to Begnas or Rupa Lakes, hiking around Kalikasthan, Thulakot or Begnaskot. Hima’s Pokhara Enchantment Tour is ideal as a lead up to trekking in Annapurna or a great way to wind down after a tiring trek.
Day 01: Transfer to Pokhara by tourist coach or private car (5-7 hours). We will take lunch in Kurintar on the banks of the Trishuli River on route. On arrival in Pokhara, check in to your hotel/resort. Free afternoon followed by evening dinner.
Day 02: We wake you up early for the short drive to Sarangkot from where you will be treated to stunning sunrise views of the Himalaya. Return to lakeside for breakfast and then a half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara. In the afternoon enjoy boating on the lake and some free time to explore lakeside.
Day 03: After breakfast in your hotel, depart for your onward transfer to Tansen, Chitwan, Lumbini or Kathmandu.
Deluxe: US$ 200 per person. Includes accommodation in Pokhara Grande (4 Star), 2 Breakfast's, 1 Dinner, private transport, sightseeing and boating on Fewa Lake.
*If you desire to stay outside of Pokhara, then you have the option of staying in the deluxe Begnas Lake Resort and Villas, which is one of the most famous resorts in Pokhara.
