Dhulikhel – A popular sunset destination

A mere 34 km east of Kathmandu is Dhulikhel, a famous hill station and tourist destination. From Dhulikhel one can see panoramic views of the middle Himalaya. This historical Newar town is found on the main Arniko Highway towards the Tibet border. One needs a visit of two days or more to take in the many sites around Dhulikhel.

Itinerary

Day 01: Transfer to Dhulikhel, Arrival and check-in at your hotel/resort. Dinner and overnight in Dhulikhel.

Day 02: Early Morning Sunrise and mountain viewing from the hotel/resort followed by breakfast and short hiking to Bhamarkot, Baralgaon, or Manegaon. After lunch you can either depart for Kathmandu or to the International Airport.

Note: Additional nights stays can be arrange for visits to Namobuddha, day hiking, Palanchowk Temple or the Nepal – Tibet border at Kodari, Rafting, Bungy Jumping or Mountain Biking.
